Complainers and Questions

I was raised knowing that "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" and "asking a question is NEVER a bad idea". After having this drilled into my head for the past 20 something years I find myself wondering if people really understand this concept. I overheard a conversation today where a lady was saying "Now don't get me wrong, I like her, but she asks the stupidest questions!" As I heard this I thought to myself well you might think its a stupid question but maybe not to her! I don't like knowing that people complain basically about how fast one can learn. Then she continued to say "I even chenged my ring tone to know when she is calling so I don't have to answer." I had the biggest urge to interrupt her comment and say "Lady you know what, I bet she is only asking you questions so she won't mess anything up and there is NOTHING wrong with that! Don't make someone feel dumb for asking a question and if you keep talking about her like that she will find out one day and you will feel like crap for talking about her behind her back!" I feel that the more questions you ask the better and if you are the one that has the questions asked to take your time to explain it and be considerate of other people! So to the lady (or man) who asks a lot of questions: Keep on asking them, don't be ashamed, and remember that asking a question is NEVER a bad idea!
