8 Months!

Where, oh where, has the time gone!

Claire is officially on the move. She has been crawling/scooting for quite some time but she has just discovered how easy it is to actually crawl with her knees. She goes from one room in the house to the next and if she can't find us she gets very upset. She LOVES to pull herself up to stand. She has not quite realized that she does not have good balance trying to stand with no hands and because of that has taken a few falls. Luckily she recovers quickly and continues to play.

There has been a little more fussiness due to some teeth that are coming in. I can't tell if she has one or two teeth in on the bottom. There is just to much saliva to really tell. She drools constantly, its like a waterfall and there is no use in trying to wipe it off her face because it just comes back. For a little while I was getting use to wearing somewhat normal clothes but I am back to jeans/shorts and a t-shirt that I don't care about so that she can drool all over that as well.

I think most children have a sweet spot that can calm them down. Like a treat, or a game to play and they instantly become happy. Well, for Claire it's the bathroom. If she is fussy and you want her to calm down just pick her up and walk into the bathroom. She immediately starts laughing and gets the biggest smile you will ever see. She loves the bathtub and LOVES to splash. I swear she could sit in the tub all day!

She is growing up so fast and I am trying to enjoy each moment.
