Sometimes Claire thinks it will be fun to stay up all night and keep me up too. Last night was one of those nights. Then when I finally looked outside before heading to school there was snow, and lots of it. And it was still falling from the sky. I was already to go and then when I walked outside and I looked at my car buried in snow I immediately turned around and went back inside.
I had every good reason not to go to class. I was tired. It was snowing. Claire was fussy. I was really tired.
As I walked back in the house Claire was crying again- she was hungry. So I told Zach I wasn't going to class and walked into her room to feed her.
Zach came in shortly after and asked if I really didn't want to go to class. I told him that I didn't and that I was tired and my class had already started. He kindly encouraged me to go to class and assured me that even if Claire screamed the entire time I was gone he would be fine. I knew that I needed to go, especially since the semester is almost done and I want to finish strong. So I put my sweats and winter coat on and headed to school. I was about 15 minutes late to my first class but it was good thing I ended up going. My Econ teacher was introducing new material today and if I hadn't been there I would have been completely lost for the rest of the semester.
Thanks to my wonderful husband who encourages me to go to class..... even when I am tired! :)
Yuck sounds like a situation in which I would have stayed home no matter what! Haha but I'm glad you have a great husband and got to get out of the house and stay on track! Being a super mom is hard work! You're doing great if you were able to concentrate on no sleep! I hope she sleeps good for you tonight!
