Embracing It!

School is back in swing and as weird as it sounds I'm glad to be back at school. We were nervous as the semester started because Zach and I had overlapping classes. While that is fine right now it will not be fine after the baby comes. So after the first day of class I realized that somehow I ended up in a few classes that I had not taken the prerequisites for. I rearranged my classes, dropped a few and then added a few and guess what..... no overlapping classes! It was a huge blessing to switch my schedule. As of right now I like all my professors and they seem like they will be ok with me having a baby toward the end of the semester.

One of the classes that I ended up adding was a swimming class. I like to swim and its great exercise but I am a little more self conscious in a swim suit now that I am 32 weeks pregnant. The first day that we actually swam in class I was nervous to walk out of the dressing room. But I decided that I am not suppose to worry about that, at least not right at this moment. Plus my OB/GYN doctor told me that I have gained the perfect amount of weight so far (only 12 pounds). So now I am not as self conscious. And most of the kids in the class don't want to share a lane with the "pregnant lady". So I get to leisurely swim laps for an hour and feel good about my work out for the rest of the day!

  1. Swimming sounds like the perfect exercise! I'm so glad your class schedules ended up coordinating.
